BEAUTY TALK: Backstage at Ermanno Scervino S/S 2016 Fashion Show

Ermanno Scervino is always synonym of elegance and so it is this beauty look for Spring/Summer 2016 by Jessica Nedza for MAC Cosmetics.

Ermanno Scervino SS16The makeup artist chose a feminine and sophisticated look, all based on rosy and plummy shades. These colours go well with pretty any colour and complexion, plus they match perfectly with the lace and the soft and delicate colours of this collection. This is a very elegant look but sexy and sensual at the same time. The eye makeup is a sort of smokey eyes using a shimmering plum shade. The eyeshadow is blended in a kajal eyeliner which is smudged along the lashline and in the waterline in order to create a soft cat-eye look. This is a very classic smokey eye, completed by tons of black mascara. Plummy shades are great because the red tones in them pull out the eye colour a lot more than classic black.Ermanno Scervino SS16

As base makeup, Jessica Nedza follows the luminous skin trend. Only a little bit of foundation and a very little coverage to enhance the natural glowing effect. There is a lot of highlighter, in this occasion she used Mineralize Skinfinish Soft and Gentle. Then we have warmer hues as blush because she wanted to recreate that sunkissed look. Even on the lips we see that natural rosy-peachy shade with a Retro Matte liquid lipstick in Lady Be Good.

Ermanno Scervino SS16The hair stylist is Paolo Soffiatti for Oribe. The inspiration is a natural hair with a thick texture. He prepared the air with the cult product Maximista Thickening Spray. Then he blew the hair dry and he created some natural waves. He used a bit of Gold Lust and finished the look with Shine Light Reflecting Spray, in order to achieve well defined locks and a luminous finish.Ermanno Scervino SS16

Nails are by Antonio Sacripante for Morgan Taylor. This collection is really simple, almost strict. So he chose a very elegant, coordinated manicure with a nude colour. It is a milky, warm nude-pink shade that goes well with pretty anything and it’s always classy.
