“Free Yoga” in Milan an outstanding public event
After the great success obtained in Barcelona and Madrid, “Free Yoga” comes finally in Italy.
Today in Milan, we have seen the biggest lesson of yoga in the open air, free for all, a manifestation dedicated to beginners and experts. A special event sponsored by Oysho, the spanish brand specializing in gym wear, undergarments and beachwear.
Milan is a metropolis and, as all big cities, is polluted, noisy, and people live stressed. The event’s aim has been to turn it into a suitable habitat for meditation and wellness.
The special guest Fiammetta Cicogna, model and TV presenter and huge fan of yoga, explained us during the video interview and she told us how started to practice.
In the fantastic location of Sempione Park, more than one thousand and five hundred people shared this particular experience, guided by three teachers (Anna Inferrera, Giselle Bridger and Xuan-Lan Trinh), to feel the peace, learning to breathe and smile inside, to feel good everywhere also in the city chaos.
Unfortunately we live in a society in which relationships are losing importance, where appearance and consumerism became sovereigns.
Very exciting to see so many people together, smiling and relaxed, united in a single cosmopolitan soul, moving simultaneously like a dance.
We met for you the three founders of Free Yoga: the Spanish Mercedes de la Rosa, the Mexican Monica Ponce and the Vietnamese Xuan-Lan Trinh.
Eight years ago, Mercedes and Monica founded Zentro Yoga, one of the first center of dynamic yoga, to learn people to rebalance body and mind in everyday life.
Xuan-Lan is a teacher and the founder of YogaLan, which organizes yoga courses and themed holidays in Spain, to travel without losing yoga lessons.
“Free Yoga” is a project, which borns by a dream of these three enterprising yoginis: to bring yoga outdoor in the street and to share it with many people.
